Compliance
Analysis, design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of regulatory compliance systems.
What this area covers
A compliance programme is the set of policies, controls and internal bodies by which a company prevents, detects and corrects conduct that could create liability. It is not a document drafted once: it is a system designed for a specific company, implemented, monitored and corrected.
What clients usually need
Companies usually arrive at one of two moments. The first is preventive: a client, a foreign parent or a tender requires proof of a programme, and they discover what they have is a folder. The second is reactive: something has happened, and the question is whether the company can show it did what it was supposed to.
